PepsiCo’s APAC Farm & Food Supply Chain Greenhouse Program

PepsiCo has launched the 2026 IMPACT Edition of its Greenhouse Program across Asia Pacific.
The beverage and snack manufacturer operates with a substantial agricultural supply chain that spans multiple markets in the region.
The programme targets start-ups with proven sustainability solutions that could integrate into the company's daily operations.
According to PepsiCo, the 2026 cohort will focus on logistics efficiency, sustainable agriculture, emissions reduction and circular economy solutions.
Cutting emissions across operations
PepsiCo works with a large agricultural and supply chain footprint.
The scale of its food and drinks operations requires intervention across farming, manufacturing and logistics to reduce environmental impact.
The company is working to cut emissions across these areas.
The programme aims to help build climate resilience and advance sustainable packaging goals.
The Greenhouse Program forms part of PepsiCo Positive (pep+), which places sustainability at the centre of the business.
According to PepsiCo, "Some of the most promising sustainability technologies are coming from start-ups but taking them beyond early trials requires access to operations, the right internal support and a clear route to adoption."
The programme brings together innovators with PepsiCo teams and partners to test, validate and implement solutions. This structure could deliver measurable impact across the company's operations.
Prioritising proven solutions
"In Asia Pacific, the next wave of competitive advantage will come from how quickly we can turn practical innovation into scaled commercial outcomes," says Anne Tse, Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, PepsiCo.
"Our priority is to focus on solutions that strengthen resilience in our value chain, accelerate execution in the market and advance pep+ in ways that are measurable for both our business and our partners."
"This edition of the PGP reflects a deliberate shift from exploring ideas broadly to backing the solutions most capable of creating strategic advantage across the region."
The Greenhouse Program is entering its fourth year in Asia Pacific. To date, it has supported more than 22 pilots with more than 30 start-ups.
Expanding the partner network
The 2026 IMPACT Edition builds on solutions that have already shown value in the company's ecosystem. These solutions could be ready to expand across markets.
The programme runs for seven months. Start-ups are paired with cross-functional PepsiCo mentors and an expanded partner network.
Partners include venture capital, agriculture and innovation support projects. The Greenhouse Program partners include:
- Artesian
- AgFunder Asia
- SAIL (Nanyang Technological University Singapore)
- AgriFutures growAG
- Circulate Capital
- GC Ventures
- CM Venture Capital.
Additional goals within the agenda include improving the livelihoods of more than 250,000 people in the agricultural supply chain.
Five alumni selected
This year the cohort involves five alumni selected for their ability to fit into PepsiCo's priorities. These priorities span circular packaging, climate resilience and agriculture.
Adiona (Australia, 2023 alumni) provides an AI-powered logistics optimisation platform. The technology improves route planning and fleet efficiency with potential to reduce Scope 3 emissions across bottler networks.
Bali Waste Cycle (Indonesia, 2025 alumni) operates a decentralised waste processing model. This enables the recovery of low-value plastics, supporting Extended Producer Responsibility readiness and strengthening recycling supply chains.
Beijing AIForce Tech (China, 2025 alumni) manufactures electric agricultural machinery. The equipment automates key farming processes, enabling reductions in emissions and labour dependency while improving productivity for growers.
Takachar (Thailand, 2024 alumni) uses biochar technology that converts crop residues into a soil-enhancing material. This approach could help reduce open burning and support carbon sequestration across agricultural supply chains.
X-Centric (Australia, 2024 alumni) provides a digital soil analytics platform. The technology enables more precise soil health measurement, helping optimise inputs and could support PepsiCo's regenerative agriculture and Scope 3 ambitions.
The programme will culminate in a regional showcase in October.
Start-ups will share progress and explore further commercial opportunities at the event.
