Fulham Shore, the restaurant owner behind Franco Manca and The Real Greek chains, has said it has seen “encouraging revenue increases” in the first 21 weeks of the financial year.

The UK-based firm said that the revenue increase was due to a slightly greater number of transactions in both its businesses.

Fulham shore said that this was "driven by menu innovation, the quality of food, the value of its proposition and the dedication of its team."

The firm said its restaurant portfolio consists of 58 restaurants in the UK, including  16 The Real Greek restaurants and 42 Franco Manca sites, as well as one Franco Manca franchise in Italy.

Fulham Shore said it was also considering opportunities for new restaurants after a variety of properties have come on the marketing following high-profile challenges for the casual dining sector.

Regarding future expansion plans, the company said: “We are seeing more properties coming to the market as a result of the current conditions in the wider retail and dining out sectors.

“We will continue to assess these opportunities and respond accordingly.”
