[VIDEO] Jimmy Kimmel Masterminds a Coffee-Fueled April Fools' Prank
It’s the weekend! Let’s have some fun.
As you probably remember, this week was April 1—also known as April Fools’ Day, the best or most aggravating holiday of the year (depending on who you ask). Late night host Jimmy Kimmel is no stranger to pranks, especially holiday themed pranks-by-proxy involving his fans uploading their own pranks to YouTube.
That’s the type of prank Kimmel pulled for this year’s April Fools’ Day. Kimmel issued a simple beverage-themed directive to his fans: just say “April Fools’ Day” immediately after a friend or relative has taken a sip of coffee, then sit back and record the reaction.
It went about as well as you might expect, with plenty of spit takes and accusations of being poisoned. But don’t take our word for it, check out the video for yourself and enjoy the rest of your weekend knowing that your morning coffee is (probably) safe and sound:
