BIGS and the Duke’s meat snacks brand were recently acquired by Conagra as part of its Thansai purchase, as the company aims to consolidate its hold on the snack sector.
BIGS has embarked on several partnerships with well-known brands resulting in unusual sunflower see flavours.
The partnership with Taco Bell is seen as an intuitive way to capitalise on the restaurant's brand, whilst simultaneously expanding recognition of the BIGS name.
Better-for-you snacking has become a popular trend in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, as millennials are increasingly more concerned about their health.
Conagra and Taco Bell are not the only major food names who have announced partnerships for a new product.
For instance, in September, 7-Eleven and General Mills announced that they were teaming up again to launch the new Pillsbury Stuffed Waffle.
