Amazon Prime and Deliveroo partner up for free deliveries

Across the UK & Ireland, Amazon Prime customers can enjoy free Deliveroo Plus membership, in an exciting new partnership to get members through the winter

Deliveroo has today announced a new offer with Amazon Prime, in the UK and Ireland: all Amazon Prime members will be able to receive free Deliveroo Plus membership for a year, giving them unlimited free delivery on orders over £25.*

Amazon Prime, a streaming service with advanced delivery options, is based in Seattle, USA, with its UK head office in London, and has a global revenue of $19bn. Food delivery service Deliveroo is headquartered in London and has a revenue of £476mn. 

 

Delivery dream with Deliveroo and Amazon Prime

Deliveroo Plus is a subscription service, which offers Deliveroo members unlimited free delivery from all restaurant and grocery partners, on orders meeting the minimum spend requirements. 

The company has just partnered with Boots, making health and beauty products available on delivery. 

Free delivery will be available from Deliveroo's 50,000 restaurants, from household favourite chains like KFC and Pizza Express to local independent gems, and even from grocers and supermarkets, in as little as 20 minutes.

Amazon Prime offers the best of shopping and entertainment to more than 200 million paid members around the world, including unlimited access to:

  • Award-winning movies and TV shows with Prime Video
  • Ad-free listening of 2 million songs
  • Amazon Music playlists 

 

An innovative idea for hungry foodies

Across the UK, Deliveroo has millions of monthly customers. It is hoped that this new offer will entice more digitally savvy customers - bringing Amazon Prime users into the Deliveroo sphere and vice versa.
