Yum! Brands
Yum! Brands is an international QSR franchising powerhouse and home to three flagship brands – KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell – that are leaders in their respective chicken, pizza, and Mexican-style fast food sectors.
Under its original name Tricon Global Restaurants, Yum! was spun off from PepsiCo in 1997 when the company made the decision to divest its restaurant brands and focus solely on beverages and snacks. To this day, Yum! Brands maintains a close relationship with PepsiCo and collaborates frequently on popular ventures such as Taco Bell’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast and the Doritos Locos Taco.
Today, Yum! Brands is recognized as the world's largest franchised restaurant parent company with more than 40,000 restaurants and $13 billion in revenue. With recent entries into emerging Asian markets, Yum! Brands is well positioned to ramp up its international growth more aggressively in the years to come.
