Corn Refiners Association
Corn is a major agribusiness in the United States, and corn refining equally so – corn refiners are responsible for taking that raw material and processing it into sweeteners, corn starch, ethanol, corn oil, livestock feed, and much more. The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is the official trade association representing this industry in the United States.
First formed as the Associated Manufacturers of Products from Corn in 1913, The Washington, DC-based CRA has been dedicated to promoting the interests of the corn refining industry for over a century now. The CRA accomplishes its goals by offering educational outreach to schools and the media and technical services and assistance to the industry, as well as by lobbying for government programs that advance the industry.
