Huddle House franchise owners continue growth in Missouri

Father and son team expand their portfolio with the iconic breakfast franchise with planned location in Sikeston, Missouri, US.

Huddle House, breakfast franchise, is expanding into Sikeston, Missouri with multi-unit franchise owners Danny and Justin Harwell of Harwell Holdings, LLC. The father and son duo are partners in two Huddle House franchise locations in MO. The new Sikeston location, projected to open in Spring of 2023, will be their third.

"Danny and Justin have proven to be incredible partners and for many years have supported the Huddle House brand. They are excellent operators that have grown their business and communities while positively challenging our thinking, and always representing the brand at a high level of excellence," said Troy Tracy, Brand President and Chief Operating Officer for Huddle House. "We are thrilled to continue to grow with them and their commitment speaks to their belief in a brand that has stood the test of time and is worth investing in for the future."

Danny and Justin opened their first Huddle House location in Poplar Bluff, MO in 1996, and opened their second location in Dexter, MO in 2017. Harwell Holdings specializes in restaurant operations and management.

"It's been such an exciting and rewarding journey to be part of the Huddle House brand and we are thrilled to add to its growth by opening a new location in Sikeston," said Danny Harwell, Member of Harwell Holdings LLC. "We were drawn to their solid business model and their franchisee support system has been a valuable resource since day one. We look forward to our continued relationship with Huddle House and bringing their homestyle meals and quality, friendly service to more communities."

Huddle House is based in Atlanta and has more than 290 locations open or in development. Huddle House offers franchise partners a robust support system to ensure their success from the planning stages through launch and into future operations. The brand is particularly attractive for multi-unit franchise operators with its four-day part revenue stream and access to the ever-growing breakfast segment. Huddle House also offers flexible formats for operators to develop from a choice of inline, endcap, conversion and ground-up designs all equipped for off-premise dining.

"As we stay laser-focused on expanding the Huddle House brand, the support of our franchise partners plays a vital role in strengthening our organization and driving our growth in new and existing markets," said Peter Ortiz, Chief Development Officer of Ascent Hospitality Management. "Danny and Justin have developed a deep understanding of Huddle House over the years and how to guide their locations toward success. We congratulate them on their recent signing and look forward to continuing our partnership with them."
